Exporting materials

How to take your materials outside of Craftybase.


Supported file formats

Export file formats include:

  • CSV (openable in Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets)

Note: Images and attachments are not included when exporting materials.

Export materials

To download a list of your materials:

  1. Go to your Materials list page
  2. In the table pagination area, click the link called Export
  3. Wait for the file to download, then open the file in your spreadsheet program to edit.

If you would like to only export specific data, you can use the Filter Menu options along the left side of the page. Once your selections are made, select  Filter, and only the data from the selected categories will be displayed. From there, you can then export as explained above.


After clicking Export, you can then click the bell icon on the upper right-hand side of the screen. This will access your notifications tab, which will provide a link to download the CSV file.

Available Data

ID, SKU, Name, Category, Description, BIN Location (Section, Position, Zone), Inventoriable?, Component?, Stock On Hand, Stock On Order, Total Purchased, Tracking Unit, Purchase Unit, Purchase to Tracking Conversion, Stock Status, State, Unit Cost, Low Stock Limit, Currency, Starting Quantity, Starting Unit Cost, Preferred Vendor, Last Stocktake Date
