How does Craftybase import from Shopify?

Craftybase utilises the  Shopify API to read and import data directly from Shopify's servers.

Once you have connected your Shopify account to Craftybase, we will schedule an automatic update for 5am each day. You can also update your data at any time before the next update via a manual update.

Your first import will, by default, attempt to download all data since you first opened your shop on Shopify. If you instead would like to import from a specific date, ensure that you run a manual update with the specified dates before the first scheduled import occurs.

Note: Regardless of the date range selected, Craftybase will import all listings found on Shopify and create these as products regardless of when they were created. If you do not wish to track some of these products going forward, you can archive them and they will be removed from most views and reports. 

We currently import products, variations and orders from Shopify. Transaction fees are only imported if processed via PayPal and the PayPal sales channel is also connected. More details on how we import fees can be found here: How are Shopify fees handled?

We request only the minimum of access that we require in order to offer our service and can only access data that you have granted us access to. We request only " read only" access to your Shopify account, meaning that we have no ability to change your data from our side. Our access to your data can be revoked by you at any time.
