Set up two-factor authentication (2FA)

Discover the process for enabling and configuring 2FA for additional security of your Craftybase account.

Protecting your account is a top priority for us, and two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to keep your data safe. Let’s walk you through how it works and how to troubleshoot any issues along the way.

In this article:

Two-factor authentication is being rolled out to select Craftybase users from November to December 2024. If this feature is not yet available for your account, please get in touch with our support team to find out when it will be enabled.

How 2FA works

Two-factor authentication (2FA) strengthens your account security by requiring a second step to log in. Even if someone gets hold of your password, 2FA ensures that only you can access your Craftybase account.

Here’s what you can expect when 2FA is active:

  • Enter your username and password as usual.
  • You’ll be prompted to input a unique verification code sent to you via email.

With 2FA, you can log in with peace of mind, knowing your account is safe from unauthorized access.

Setting up 2FA for your Craftybase-Amazon Integrated account.

Activating 2FA is simple and automatic for Craftybase users who have connected their Amazon shop integration. Once your shop is linked, 2FA will be enabled on your account to provide that extra layer of security.
