About material BIN locations

A Bin Location can be used to define the exact place where you store your material. There are three components to the location: Zone, Section and Position.

A Zone is generally used to denote the room or area that the material is located in. The section is then the next grouping within the zone and finally the position indicates the exact location of the material within the zone and section.

You can use one or all of the available fields in order to name your material locations.
