How can I find the total material cost of all products I have made?
Your total materials cost for manufactures can be viewed for any time period on your Overview page.
To find your total material costs generated for a specific period of time:
Go to your Overview page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and go to Manufactures
Select the date range from the selection box in the top right-hand corner
This bar graph will provide you with a visual representation of how material costs fluctuate over time. Each bar corresponds to a specific date, showing the total material costs incurred on that day. Here's how you can interpret it:
- Daily Costs: The height of each bar represents the material cost for that specific day. Taller bars indicate higher material costs, while shorter bars reflect lower costs.
- Trends Over Time: By observing the graph, you can identify trends in material cost. For example, steady increases or decreases may indicate changes in production or material prices.
- Comparative Insights: Comparing bars over a period (e.g., a week or month) can help highlight days with significant cost differences, which may need further investigation.
- Data Highlight: Hovering over a bar (as shown in the image) provides detailed information, such as the exact material cost for the selected date. This makes it easier to pinpoint specific days for analysis.
This is particularly useful for tracking spending patterns and understanding how changes in production or supply impact material costs.
This tally is generated from all product Manufactures you have added to the system within the time period selected. This number does not include component manufactures.
