Exporting contacts
Download your contacts list as a CSV file for use in other tools or as a backup.
Need to get your customer or vendor list out of the app? Exporting your contacts gives you a complete snapshot of every contact — names, addresses, categories, and more — in a format you can open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

Exporting your contacts list

On the main menu bar, hover over the vertical ellipsis.

From the dropdown, select Contacts.

In the table pagination area, click the Export icon.
Exporting specific contacts
To export only a subset of your contacts:
- Go to your Contacts list page.
- Use the Filter options on the left side of the page to narrow the list as needed.
- Click Filter — only the matching contacts will be displayed.
- Click the Export icon to export the filtered results only.
As an Etsy API partner, we are obliged to mention that exporting customer details for direct marketing is against Etsy's Terms of Service. Please ensure that Etsy permits your intended use of contact data before proceeding.
Downloading the CSV file
After clicking the Export icon, click the bell icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. This opens your Notifications tab and shows a link to download the CSV file.
Fields included in the contacts export
The export file contains the following fields:
| ID | The ID of the person or company. |
| Category | Contact type (e.g., Vendor, Customer, or Other). |
| Name | Name of the person or company. |
| Email address of the person or company. | |
| Website | Website URL of the person or company. |
| Phone | Phone number of the person or company. |
| Address First Line | The first line of the address. |
| Address Second Line | The second line of the address (if applicable). |
| City | City from the address. |
| State | State from the address. |
| Zip Code | Zip code from the address. |
| Country | Country from the address. |
| Pricing Tier | The price points assigned to the person or company. |
| Notes | Additional information or comments about the person or company. |
| Created At | The date and time the contact was created in the app. Displayed in your account time zone. |
| Updated At | The date and time the contact was last updated in the app. Displayed in your account time zone. |
