May 2026 — What's New?

A round-up of what we shipped in May. Drag-to-reorder columns landed across the whole app, the Orders and Purchases forms got a full visual refresh, and there's a handful of new options to help you move faster through the day.

New & improved

Drag-to-reorder columns. You can now drag column headers left and right to set the order you prefer on Materials, Orders, Contacts, Manufactures, Purchases, Components, Recipes, Variations, Listings, and Stock Push Adjustments list pages. Your layout is saved per-user, so each person on your team can arrange columns to suit their own workflow without affecting anyone else's view 💪. The order is remembered across sessions — no need to re-arrange each visit.

Production Potential in more places. The Products list now shows a Potential column — how many units you could make right now from your current stock — replacing the older Shipped column. If you export your products or variations to CSV, that number is now included in the export too.

Useful if you're planning batch sizes or tracking capacity in a spreadsheet.

Floating batch actions bar. Select one or more rows on any list page and a panel slides up from the bottom of the screen showing all available batch actions — delete, merge, set category, and so on. It replaces the old static area on the page, which was easy to miss. A count of selected items is shown in the bar, and a deselect-all option is included.

Bulk Set Category on Products. The Products list now has a Bulk Set Category action in the batch bar, matching what's been available on the Materials list for a while. Select multiple products, pick a category from the autocomplete, and they're all updated in one action.

Add New Customer from the order form. You can now create a new customer directly from the order form without navigating away. Click the "+" next to the customer field, fill in the name and details, and the new contact is selected automatically when you save.

Stock Push is out of beta. The beta badge has been removed from Stock Push across the app. All the functionality stays the same — it's just official now.

Copy SKU to clipboard. On any Material, Component, Product, or Variation detail page, hover the SKU code to reveal a small copy icon. Click it and the raw SKU is copied to your clipboard — the icon flips to a green checkmark for a moment to confirm. Handy when you're pasting codes into marketplace listings or a spreadsheet.

Refreshed look

May was another big month for visual polish, with several forms and list pages updated to the newer layout.

Purchases form. The new/edit Purchase form has been rebuilt in the modern visual style — cleaner layout, inline validation as you type, and an unsaved-changes warning if you try to navigate away mid-form. The "Add New Vendor" experience has been tidied up too. Every field is still there; only the presentation has changed.

More forms updated. The Products, Materials, Components, Locations, Contacts, Stocktakes, and Variation Attribute Labels new/edit forms have all been updated to the modern look.

Responsive list pages. Lower-priority columns now hide automatically at narrower browser widths across all major list pages. Widen the window to see the full column set — nothing has been removed, it just adapts to the available space.

Stocktakes list. The Stocktakes list got a filter sidebar (search by code, filter by Materials vs Products), a new blank-state illustration, and refreshed column tooltips. The row action menu has also moved to the sticky Code column, matching the pattern used elsewhere.

We ship updates often — new monthly round-ups land in this section at the start of each month. Bookmark this page if you'd like to keep up.
