Add or remove a material

Learn how to add, make changes, or remove material for products, variations, or manufactures in Craftybase.

Craftybase lets you add materials as stock needed to make your products. If you need to change a material, you can also edit or remove it.

Add a material

To add a material:

  1. Sign in to your Craftybase account.
  2. Click Materials in the main menu.

  1. Click Add Material on the top-right side.

  2. Enter relevant information about the material.

  3. Click Save Material.

If you're adding more than one material, click Save Material & Add Another to add another material quickly.

Edit a material

To edit a material:

  1. Sign in to your Craftybase account.
  2. Click Materials in the main menu.

  1. Open the material and click Edit.

  1. Click Save Material to save your changes.

Remove a material

If you've added a purchase for this material or used it to create a manufacture, you can only archive the material. To remove the material completely, you'll need to first remove it from any recipes, purchases, manufactures, or stocktakes.

To remove a material:

  1. Sign in to your Craftybase account.
  2. Click Materials in the main menu.

  1. Open the material and click Remove.

  1. Click Yes, Remove to confirm.
