Accounting for digital products

It is possible to add digital products to Craftybase. However, as they do not require inventory, you'll want to ensure that you do not assign any material costs to the product.

As no manufactures will be created for the product, you'll want to be aware that stock levels will still decrease and show as "out of stock" with a negative stock count by default. You can, however, create manufactures with no materials for this product (either manually or via the auto-manufacture feature) to create the stock that has been sold. Alternatively, you could make a one-off starting adjustment with a zero unit cost for a specific quantity (i.e., 1000) so that your orders are deducted from this total.
