Accounting for digital products

It is possible to add digital products to Craftybase, however as they do not require inventory you'll want to ensure that you do not assign any material costs to the product.

As no manufactures will be created for the product, you'll want to be aware that stock levels will still decrease and will show as "out of stock" and with a negative stock count by default. You can however create manufactures with no materials for this product (either manually or via the auto-manufacture feature) to create the stock that has been sold. Alternatively, you could create a one off starting adjustment with a zero unit cost for a specific quantity (i.e. 1000) so that your orders are deducted from this total.
